Design Process & Pricing

Our team of experienced, competent, and creative graphic designers are experts in their field. We will work closely with you from start to finish to ensure that your vision is brought to life. We take great pride in our work and are committed to designing unique paperback and e-book covers that are guaranteed to grab attention.

Once you submit the details for your book cover, one of our experienced designers will contact you. If you are ready to begin working with MAUGEDESIGN on your award-winning book cover, a 50% down payment of the total price is required, whether it is for a paperback or an e-book. As soon as we receive your payment, we will start working on your cover right away. You will then be provided with three design options to choose from.

A dust jacket, also known as a book jacket or dust cover, is a protective cover placed on the outside of a hardcover book. Usually made of paper, it features the title, author, and other relevant information.

The pricing is based on a minimum of 100 pages of text only. Any additional pages beyond 100 will be charged at an hourly rate of $60. Images are meticulously prepared for optimal quality and appropriately sized, and they will incur separate charges.
These prices are set. Any work beyond the scope of these agree-upon prices will be billed at the hourly rate of $60 beginning with a minimum of 1/2 hr.

Our Book Cover Design &
Interior Layout Pricing

The client/author will provide all images. It is highly recommended that authors provide high-resolution images (300ppi) that they have full rights to, and with a size of at least 5"x7." MAUGEDESIGN will not be held responsible for any copyright issues related to images provided by the client/author.

If the client/author needs but cannot provide images, MAUGEDESIGN can offer high-resolution licensed images from image banks for a fee. We do not offer photo restoration, image retouching or other image manipulation.
