ABOUT
MaugeDesign has been creating award‑winning book covers since 2016 for authors across the U.S. and internationally. Our goal is simple: to capture the essence of your story with clear, intentional, and visually compelling design.
Led by Carole Maugé‑Lewis — Professor Emerita, nationally recognized designer, and founder of Visible Minds AI — our studio brings deep expertise in visual communication, design thinking, and modern creative tools.
We take a personal approach to every project, learning each author’s voice and reading portions of the manuscript to ensure the cover reflects the heart of the work. Whether you need a paperback, wraparound jacket, or eBook cover, we specialize in thoughtful, professional designs crafted with care.
Our Mission
Our mission is to bring our clients' creative visions to life through dedication, expertise, and a commitment to excellence. As passionate graphic designers and educators, we design, teach, consult, and author textbooks—most recently releasing two new titles on graphic design. By actively listening and asking insightful questions, we ensure every project reflects our clients' unique ideas. Through continuous learning and innovation, we strive to deliver exceptional results and lasting satisfaction to clients around the world.
